(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا , ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ , قَالَ : وحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ غَيْلَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ زَبَّانَ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ قَرَأَ أَلْفَ آيَةٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى كُتِبَ ، يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَعَ النَّبِيِّينَ وَالصِّدِّيقِينَ وَالشُّهَدَاءِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ ، وَحَسُنَ أُولَئِكَ رَفِيقًا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Anas that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever recites one thousand verses for the pleasure of Allah will be recorded on the Day of Resurrection with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous, and, insha’Allah, the companionship of the people will be excellent.
