It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam that once I requested some wealth from the Prophet (peace be upon him), and I did so several times. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: O Hakim, this wealth is lush and sweet. Whoever receives it rightfully, there is blessing placed in it for him. And whoever acquires it with greed, there is no blessing placed in it for him, and he is like the one who eats but is not satisfied. And the upper hand is better than the lower hand.
