(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي سَعْدُ بْنُ أَوْسٍ ، عَنْ بِلَالِ بْنِ يَحْيَى , شَيْخٌ لَهُمْ , عَنْ شُتَيْرِ بْنِ شَكَلٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، عَلِّمْنِي دُعَاءً أَنْتَفِعُ بِهِ , قَالَ : " قُلْ : اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ سَمْعِي وَبَصَرِي ، وَقَلْبِي وَمَنِيِّي " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Shakl bin Humaid that once I submitted in the court of the Messenger: O Messenger of Allah! Teach me a supplication from which I may benefit. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Make this supplication: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from the evil of my hearing, my sight, my heart, and my desires.
