(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، عَنِ الزُّبَيْدِيِّ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِي خِزَامَةَ ، أَحَدِ بَنِي الْحَارِثِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , أَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , أَرَأَيْتَ دَوَاءً نَتَدَاوَى بِهِ ، وَرُقًى نَسْتَرْقِي ، بِهَا وَتُقًى نَتَّقِيهَا ، هَلْ تَرُدُّ ذَلِكَ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ شَيْئًا ؟ , قَالَ : فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ذَلِكَ مِنْ قَدَرِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Khuzamah that once I submitted in the court of the Messenger: O Messenger of Allah! Please tell me, these treatments we do, or the incantations we recite, or the precautions we take—can these things avert any part of Allah’s decree? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: These things are also a part of divine decree.
