(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ فَضَاءٍ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , قَالَ : نَهَى نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنْ تُكْسَرَ سِكَّةُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ الْجَائِزَةُ بَيْنَهُمْ ، إِلَّا مِنْ بَأْسٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) forbade breaking the currency in circulation among the Muslims, except in case of necessity.
