(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الرَّاسِبِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، عَنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ شُمَيْلَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي طَرِيفٍ ، قَالَ : " كُنْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ حَاصَرَ الطَّائِفَ ، وَكَانَ يُصَلِّي بِنَا صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ ، حَتَّى لَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا رَمَى لَرَأَى مَوْقِعَ نَبْلِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Turaif that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) laid siege to Ta’if, I was with him. The Prophet (peace be upon him) used to lead us in the Maghrib prayer at such a time that if a person shot an arrow, he could see the place where the arrow fell.
