(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ رَبِّ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ يُحَدِّثُ , عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، عَنِ الرَّبِيعِ بْنِ سَبْرَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ يُقَالُ لَهُ : السَّبْرِيّ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ : " أَمَرَهُمْ بِالْمُتْعَةِ " , قَالَ : فَخَطَبْتُ أَنَا وَرَجُلٌ امْرَأَةً ، قَالَ : فَلَقِيتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعْدَ ثَلَاثٍ ، فَإِذَا هُوَ يُحَرِّمُهَا أَشَدَّ التَّحْرِيمِ ، وَيَقُولُ فِيهَا أَشَدَّ الْقَوْلِ ، وَيَنْهَى عَنْهَا أَشَدَّ النَّهْيِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sabrah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) permitted us to benefit from women, so I and one of my companions went out and presented ourselves to a woman. After three days, we met the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he was intensely declaring its prohibition and strictly forbidding it.
