Hadith 15319

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Hakim bin Hizam that I once submitted in the court of Prophethood: O Messenger of Allah! Please tell me, many of the deeds I used to do in the time of ignorance, such as freeing slaves and maintaining ties of kinship, etc.—will I receive reward for them? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: For all the good deeds you did before Islam, with which you embraced Islam, you will surely receive their reward and recompense.
