Hadith 15297

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ , حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى , حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " مَا مِنْ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَا مُسْلِمَةٍ , وَلَا مُؤْمِنٍ وَلَا مُؤْمِنَةٍ , يُصِيبُهُ مَرَضٌ , إِلَّا حَطَّ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: Whenever a believing man or woman, or a Muslim man or woman falls ill, Allah forgives his or her sins.
