Hadith 15285

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ , حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ , أَخْبَرَنِي الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ , عَنْ نُبَيْحٍ الْعَنَزِيِّ , عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا دَخَلَ أَحَدُكُمْ لَيْلًا , فَلَا يَطْرُقَنَّ أَهْلَهُ طُرُوقًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: When you enter the city at night, do not go to your house without informing (them).
