It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever is a partner in a piece of land or a garden should not sell it to anyone else without first offering it to his partner, so that if he wishes, he may take it, otherwise he may leave it.
