Hadith 15272

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ , حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ , عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ , قَالَ : مَرَّ بِنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الْغَائِطِ , فَدَعَوْنَاهُ إِلَى عَجْوَةٍ بَيْنَ أَيْدِينَا عَلَى تُرْسٍ , فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا , وَلَمْ يَكُنْ تَوَضَّأَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ مِنْهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by us after relieving himself in a valley. We offered the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) some Ajwa dates which were placed before us on a shield. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ate them and did not perform ablution before eating.
