Hadith 15271

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ , حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو , عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ , عَنْ عَطَاءٍ , عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " صَلَاةٌ فِي مَسْجِدِي هَذَا , أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ , إِلَّا الْمَسْجِدَ الْحَرَامَ , وَصَلَاةٌ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ الْحَرَامِ , أَفْضَلُ مِنْ مِائَةِ أَلْفِ صَلَاةٍ فِيمَا سِوَاهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The reward for offering prayer in this mosque of mine is superior to a thousand prayers in other mosques, except for Al-Masjid Al-Haram, where the reward for one prayer is superior to a hundred thousand prayers.
