It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that there was a man among the Ansar whose name was Abu Shu'aib. He had a slave who was a butcher. He said to his slave, "Cook some food for me one day so that I may invite the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and it should be enough for five people." So he invited the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him). Along with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), one extra person came. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) reached his house, he said: "This person has come with us. Do you permit him as well?" He gave permission.
