Hadith 15263

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْمَرُ , أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ , أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ , قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ الْحَسَنَ يَذْكُرُ , عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ دَعْوَةٌ فَدَعَا بِهَا , وَإِنِّي اسْتَخْبَأْتُ دَعْوَتِي شَفَاعَةً لِأُمَّتِي يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet, the Honourable Leader of the Worlds (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every prophet had a supplication which he made for his ummah, but I have reserved my supplication for my ummah as intercession for the Day of Resurrection.
