It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I submitted in the presence of the Prophet: O Messenger of Allah! My father left behind some debt owed to the Jews. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If Allah wills, I will come to you on Saturday. It was the season for harvesting dates. On Saturday morning, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) came to me. There was water standing in the garden. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered and, standing near the water channel, performed ablution and prayed two rak‘ahs. Then I took the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) into my tent and spread out a bed made of hair and placed behind it a pillow made of hair filled with date palm fibers. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) leaned against it. After a short while, Abu Bakr as-Siddiq also arrived. It seemed as if he had seen the actions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with his own eyes, for he too performed ablution and prayed two rak‘ahs. Shortly after, Sayyiduna Umar also arrived, and he too performed ablution and prayed two rak‘ahs, as if he had seen both of them before him. Then both of them also entered the tent, and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr as-Siddiq sat at the head of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and Sayyiduna Umar sat at the feet of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
