Hadith 15231

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ الْأَشْيَبُ , حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ , عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ , أَنَّ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَخْبَرَهُ ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " قَضَى فِي الْعُمْرَى أَنَّهَا لِمَنْ وُهِبَتْ لَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) decreed that if something is given to a person for his lifetime, it will belong to him.
