(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُوَيْسٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُرَحْبِيلُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ مَوْلَى بَنِي خَطْمَةَ , عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " لَأَنْ يَكُفَّ أَحَدُكُمْ يَدَهُ عَنِ الْحَصَى , خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ مِائَةِ نَاقَةٍ كُلُّهَا سُودُ الْحَدَقَةِ , فَإِنْ غَلَبَ أَحَدَكُمِ الشَّيْطَانُ , فَلْيَمْسَحْ مَسْحَةً وَاحِدَةً " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Let none of you move pebbles with his hand; this is better for him than a hundred she-camels, all of whose eyes are black. If Satan overcomes any one of you, then let him level it only once.
