Hadith 15202

(حديث مرفوع) 14880 حدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ , قَالَ : جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , فَقَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ , " مَا الْمُوجِبَتَانِ ؟ " فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever plants a tree or sows a crop, and then a human, bird, beast, or animal eats from it, it will be counted as charity for him. The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
