Hadith 1520

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The greatest offender among the Muslims is the one who asked about something and tried to find out matters that were unpleasant, to the extent that, as a result of his question, the ruling of prohibition regarding that thing was revealed.”
