Hadith 15160

Muhammad bin Munkadir says that once I went to the house of Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him). He was wrapped in a single cloth and was performing prayer, although another sheet was lying near him. When he finished the prayer with salam, we asked him about this issue. He replied: I did this so that fools like you may see that I am praying in a single cloth. I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) praying in this manner.
