Hadith 15139

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى ، وَمُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ , عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ , قَالَ : " أَكَلْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لُحُومَ الْأَضَاحِيِّ , وَتَزَوَّدْنَا حَتَّى بَلَغْنَا بِهَا الْمَدِينَةَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that we ate the meat of the sacrificial animal of Hajj with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) during his blessed era, and we also brought it along as provisions for the journey.
