Hadith 15125

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ , قَالَ : قَالَ ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ يَزْعُمُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنِ الصُّوَرِ فِي الْبَيْتِ , وَنَهَى الرَّجُلَ أَنْ يَصْنَعَ ذَلِكَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade keeping and making pictures in the house.
