Hadith 15124

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ , عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ , عَنْ شُرَحْبِيلَ بْنِ سَعْدٍ , عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَأَنْ يُمْسِكَ أَحَدُكُمْ يَدَهُ عَنِ الْحَصْبَاءِ , خَيْرٌ لَهُ مِنْ أَنْ يَكُونَ لَهُ مِائَةُ نَاقَةٍ , كُلُّهَا سُودُ الْحَدَقَةِ , فَإِنْ غَلَبَ أَحَدَكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ , فَلْيَمْسَحْ مَسْحَةً وَاحِدَةً " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Let none of you move pebbles with his hand; it is better for him than a hundred camels, all of whose eyes are black. If Satan overcomes any one of you, then let him level it only once.
