Hadith 15120

حَدَّثَنَا حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ , حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ , أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ " أَنَا فَرَطُكُمْ بَيْنَ أَيْدِيكُمْ , فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُونِي فَأَنَا عَلَى الْحَوْضِ , وَالْحَوْضُ قَدْرُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْلَةَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ , وَسَيَأْتِي رِجَالٌ وَنِسَاءٌ فَلَا يَذُوقُونَ مِنْهُ شَيْئًا " مَوْقُوفٌ وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ
Narrated to us Rawh, narrated to us Ibn Jurayj, informed me Abu al-Zubayr, that he heard Jabir ibn Abd Allah, and he did not attribute it to the Prophet: "I am your predecessor before you, so if you do not find me, I am at the Hawd, and the Hawd is as far as the distance between Aylah and Makkah, and men and women will come but they will not taste anything from it." This is mawquf and he did not attribute it to the Prophet.
