Hadith 15056

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ , حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ يَعْنِي التَّيْمِيَّ , عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ , عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لِأَصْحَابِهِ : " مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ نَفْسٍ مَنْفُوسَةٍ , يَأْتِي عَلَيْهَا مِائَةُ سَنَةٍ وَهِيَ حَيَّةٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to his companions: "Whoever is alive today, a hundred years will not pass before he is no longer alive." The previous hadith is also narrated through this second chain.
