Hadith 15034

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ , حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي , عَنْ صَالِحٍ , عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ , قَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ ، سَمِعْتُ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يُحَدِّثُ , أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " لَمَّا كَذَّبَتْنِي قُرَيْشٌ حِينَ أُسْرِيَ بِي إِلَى بَيْتِ الْمَقْدِسِ , قُمْتُ فِي الْحِجْرِ فَجَلَا اللَّهُ لِي بَيْتَ الْمَقْدِسِ , فَطَفِقْتُ أُخْبِرُهُمْ عَنْ آيَاتِهِ , وَأَنَا أَنْظُرُ إِلَيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: When the Quraysh denied my journey to Bayt al-Maqdis, I stood in Hatim, and Allah brought Bayt al-Maqdis before me, and I began to describe its signs to them while looking at it.
