Hadith 15017

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا كَثِيرٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " أَمْسِكُوا عَلَيْكُمْ أَمْوَالَكُمْ ، وَلَا تُعْمِرُوهَا , فَإِنَّ مَنْ أَعْمَرَ شَيْئًا حَيَاتَهُ فَهُوَ لَهُ حَيَاتَهُ وَبَعْدَ مَوْتِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Keep your wealth with yourself, do not give it to anyone, and whoever gives something to someone for a lifetime, then it becomes his, both during his life and after his death.
