Hadith 15006

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ كَانَتْ لَهُ أَرْضٌ فَلْيَزْرَعْهَا ، أَوْ لِيَمْنَحْهَا أَخَاهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever has a piece of land, he should cultivate it himself or give it as a gift to his brother.
