Hadith 14997

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَزْهَرُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الرَّاسِبِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ، وَكَثِيرُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ , عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ , قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنْ بَيْعِ النَّخْلِ حَتَّى يُطْعَمَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of fruit before it had ripened and become good.
