Hadith 14994

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنِي شِبْلٌ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ دِينَارٍ ، يَقُولُ : عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , وَابْنِ عُمَرَ , وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ " .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, and Ibn Abbas state that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade the sale of fruit before it had ripened and become good.
