Hadith 14983

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا رَبَاحٌ الْمَكِّيُّ ، عَنِ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ , أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يَرْمُوا الْجِمَارَ مِثْلَ حَصَى الْخَذْفِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) commanded the companions to stone the Shaytan with pebbles made of clay.
