Hadith 14924

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بِشْرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " نَحَرْنَا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ سَبْعِينَ بَدَنَةً ، الْبَدَنَةُ عَنْ سَبْعَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that at the place of Hudaybiyyah, in the presence of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), we slaughtered seventeen camels, one camel on behalf of every seven people.
