(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، وَعَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : " تَمَتَّعْنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُتْعَتَيْنِ الْحَجَّ ، وَالنِّسَاءَ " ، وَقَدْ قَالَ حَمَّادٌ أَيْضًا : مُتْعَةَ الْحَجِّ ، وَمُتْعَةَ النِّسَاءِ ، فَلَمَّا كَانَ عُمَرُ ، نَهَانَا عَنْهُمَا فَانْتَهَيْنَا .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), there were two types of Mut‘ah: Mut‘ah of Hajj and Mut‘ah with women. Sayyiduna Umar forbade us from both of them, so we refrained.
