(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو ، عَنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : شَهِدْتُ الْأَضْحَى مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمُصَلَّى ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى خُطْبَتَهُ ، أَتَى بِكَبْشٍ ، فَذَبَحَهُ بِيَدِهِ ، وَقَالَ : " بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَبِاللَّهِ ، اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّ هَذَا عَنِّي ، وَعَمَّنْ لَمْ يُضَحِّ مِنْ أُمَّتِي " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that I offered the Eid al-Adha prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). After completing the prayer and sermon, a ram was brought. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slaughtered it, saying: "Bismillah, Allahu Akbar," and said: "O Allah, this is from me and from all those in my ummah who cannot offer a sacrifice."
