(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ : أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى يَوْمَ خَيْبَرَ عَنْ لُحُومِ الْحُمُرِ ، وَأَذِنَ فِي لُحُومِ الْخَيْلِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that during the time of the Battle of Khaybar, (the Prophet ﷺ) forbade (the eating of) domesticated donkeys and permitted the meat of horses.
