Hadith 14889

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلِيمُ بْنُ حَيَّانَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مِينَاءَ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " صَلَّى عَلَى أَصْحَمَةَ النَّجَاشِيِّ ، فَكَبَّرَ عَلَيْهِ أَرْبَعًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offered the funeral prayer for the King of Abyssinia, Najashi Ashamah, and said four takbirs over him.
