Hadith 14886

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، وَبَهْزٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ ، حَدَّثَنِي جَابِرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْعُمْرَى جَائِزَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is permissible to give something to someone for a lifetime.
