Hadith 14883

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لِلْيَهُودِ : " إِنِّي سَائِلُهُمْ عَنْ تُرْبَةِ الْجَنَّةِ ، وَهِيَ دَرْمَكَةٌ بَيْضَاءُ " ، فَسَأَلَهُمْ ، فَقَالُوا : هِيَ خُبْزَةٌ يَا أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْخُبْزَةُ مِنَ الدَّرْمَكِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the Jews that I am going to ask them about the soil of Paradise, which will be pure white. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked them: They replied, "O Abu al-Qasim, it will be like bread." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It will be like pure bread."
