Hadith 14870

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَهْلِهِ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ طَلْقِ بْنِ حَبِيبٍ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اتَّقُوا فَوْرَةَ الْعِشَاءِ " ، كَأَنَّهُ لِمَا يُخَافُ مِنَ الِاحْتِضَارِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Be cautious at the time of the Isha prayer. It is likely that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) feared the calamities and afflictions that occur at that time.
