It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir, may Allah be pleased with him, that there was a man among the Ansar whose name was Abu Shu'aib. He had a slave who was a butcher. He said to his slave, "Cook some food for me one day so that I may invite the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and I will be the sixth among six people." So he invited the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. Along with the Prophet, an extra man came. When the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, reached his house, he said: "This person has come with us. Do you permit him as well?" He gave permission.
