(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
مُوسَى ،
وَحَسَنٌ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا
ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، عَنْ
أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ
جَابِرٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَثَلُ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَمَثَلِ السُّنْبُلَةِ ، تَخِرُّ مَرَّةً وَتَسْتَقِيمُ مَرَّةً ، وَمَثَلُ الْكَافِرِ مَثَلُ الْأَرْزِ ، لَا يَزَالُ مُسْتَقِيمًا حَتَّى يَخِرَّ وَلَا يَشْعُرَ " ، قَالَ حَسَنٌ : " الْأَرْزَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The example of a Muslim is like that of an ear of wheat, which sometimes bends and sometimes stands upright, and the example of a disbeliever is like that of a stalk of rice, which always remains standing until it falls, and no hair grows on it (or it does not even realize it).
