(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي مُلَيْكَةَ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَهِيكٍ , عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَيْسَ مِنَّا مَنْ لَمْ يَتَغَنَّ بِالْقُرْآنِ " , قَال وَكِيعٌ : يَعْنِي : يَسْتَغْنِي بِهِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is not one of us who does not recite the Noble Qur'an with a beautiful voice." Waki' explained its meaning as: The one who does not recite the Noble Qur'an with a pleasant voice is not one of us.
