It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him), with reference to Banu Juhani, that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a group in the mosque who had drawn their swords and were exchanging them with each other without sheathing them. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The curse of Allah is upon the one who does this. Did I not strictly forbid you from doing so? When you draw swords, give them to each other only after sheathing them."
