Hadith 14712

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُنْكَدِرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ لِكُلِّ نَبِيٍّ حَوَارِيًّا ، وَإِنَّ حَوَارِيَّ الزُّبَيْرُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Every prophet had a disciple, and my disciple is Zubair.
