Hadith 14711

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْمُبَارَكُ ، حَدَّثَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " الْمُوجِبَتَانِ مَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ ، وَلَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ، وَمَنْ لَقِيَ اللَّهَ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَهُوَ يُشْرِكٌ دَخَلَ النَّارَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two things that make it obligatory: Whoever meets Allah in such a state that he does not associate anything with Him, he will enter Paradise; and whoever meets Allah in such a state that he associates something with Him, he will enter Hell."
