Hadith 14706

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ ، حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ ، عَنْ هَاشِمِ بْنِ هَاشِمِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ نِسْطَاسٍ ، يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " لَا يَحْلِفُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى مِنْبَرِي كَاذِبًا ، إِلَّا تَبَوَّأَ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever swears a false oath upon my pulpit, let him prepare his abode in Hell.
