Hadith 14705

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ عِيسَى ، أَخْبَرَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الرَّجُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ ، أَوْ يَمْشِيَ فِي نَعْلٍ وَاحِدَةٍ ، وَأَنْ يَشْتَمِلَ الصَّمَّاءَ ، وَأَنْ يَحْتَبِيَ فِي ثَوْبٍ وَاحِدٍ كَاشِفًا عَنْ فَرْجِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade a person from eating with his left hand, or walking with only one shoe, or wrapping his body in a single garment, or sitting in such a way with one knee up that his private parts become exposed.
