Hadith 14699

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : " نَهَانَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنْ نَتَمَسَّحَ بِعَظْمٍ أَوْ بَعْرٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade performing istinja with dung or bone.
