Hadith 14671

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ جَابِرًا : مَتَى كَانَ يَرْمِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ؟ ، فَقَالَ : " أَمَّا أَوَّلَ يَوْمٍ فَضُحًى ، وَأَمَّا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَعِنْدَ زَوَالِ الشَّمْسِ " .
Abu Az-Zubair says that I asked Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) at what time the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to perform the Rami (stoning). He replied that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) threw pebbles at Jamrah Ula on the 10th of Dhul-Hijjah at the time of forenoon, and on the following days he performed Rami at the time of decline (after midday).
